CELEBRANT WEDDINGS

Congratulations! You've found someone who's your kind of weird, and you've decided to be weird together for the rest of your lives. Now it's time to tell everyone all about it.

Whether you're planning a big knees-up with all your family and friends, a small and intimate do with your nearest and dearest, or if you're running away, just the two of you, to the hills/forest/beach to elope, I can create a ceremony for you that will make it all the more special.

Weddings

£750

When you have a Wit & Wonder wedding, you'll get:

  • A no obligation chat either in person or on a video call to make sure I'm the celebrant for you

  • An initial meeting to get to know you properly, bounce some ideas about, and start planning your ceremony

  • A couple's questionnaire for you to answer, so you can spill the tea and I can get all the nitty-gritty details

  • A completely personal wedding ceremony, written from scratch, that is tailored to you and your story

  • The option to include a symbolic element, (we'll talk about this when we plan your ceremony)

  • Another meeting where I'll read your ceremony to you, so you can get a sense of how it will sound on the day and you can make any changes

  • Help choosing music and readings, recommending suppliers, and help writing your vows

  • Unlimited email and WhatsApp contact for 'silly' questions (no such thing), advice, agony aunt/shoulder to cry on/hype woman services (NB: I love a good gif and a lengthy voice note)

  • A confidently delivered ceremony full of love and laughter, having welcomed your guests, briefed the wedding party, and talked through the important bits with your other suppliers

  • A ceremony certificate (if you want to sign one) and a copy of your ceremony script to keep

MC/Wedding Host

£950

If you'd like me to stick around for the whole day and you book me as your wedding host, you get everything included in the Wedding package above, plus:

  • Someone to go between your venue coordinator and your other suppliers, so your day runs smoothly and you don't have to worry about a thing

  • Someone to help your photographer round up your friends and relatives for the group shots and to call everyone in to dine (honestly, it's like herding cats)

  • Someone to whip the crowd up to give you the welcome you deserve as I introduce you to the room for the wedding breakfast

  • Someone to introduce the speeches, the cake cutting and the first dance (if you're doing any of these things)

  • Someone to lead any games (such as The Shoe Game or Pub Quiz: Newlyweds Edition) to entertain your guests before the party starts in the evening

  • Anything else you need me to do/carry/fetch/find/sort/solve for the rest of the day

Elopements &
Destination Weddings

Even if you're planning to have the smallest, most intimate wedding, a celebrant-led ceremony is the perfect way to make your elopement the most special, unforgettable experience. The way I work with eloping couples is different to those planning a more 'normal' wedding, so get in touch, tell me all about your ideas, and I can give you a quote.

I may be based in Cheshire, but I am very portable. So if you're planning on getting married abroad, take me with you! Please get in touch, tell me all about the beautiful destination in which you've chosen to exchange your vows, and I can give you a quote.

* PLEASE NOTE *

Currently in the UK, independent celebrants cannot conduct legally binding wedding ceremonies. For your marriage to be recognised by UK law, you will also need to complete the legal formalities at a register office before or after your ceremony with me. But don't worry, this is very simple and very cheap, and I'm here to guide you through every step of the way.

You can read more about this here, and if you have any questions at all, please send me an email: hello@witandwonder.co.uk
